One of the MCs struggles with shame about his submissive desires but he eventually gets over it, mention of a time in which this MC was shamed for his desires by someone, MC wrongfully blamed for criminal activity (hurting someone and drug possession), brief police encounter confrontation that is quickly resolved, mention of secondary character trying to sell drugs to someone who didn't want to do them anymore.Explicit sexual content, kinky times, rough sex fantasies from one of the MCs, they are explored in consensual ways with enthusiastic consent on page, light sweet humiliation, and lots of feels.
Obsessed with the Player
These are some of the content warnings included in the book (all the ones I could think of!). Some come with explanations that might be mildly spoiler-y, so I’ll make a general statement that keeps out spoilers as best I can, and then a more detailed one in case you want it :DThe characters get into a casual sexual relationship and there is talk of sleeping with other people to get over each other, but they never do it, there is no cheating, they’re just two dudes that like jealousy games and live in denial until the feels slap them in the face ;) (More info about this in the spoiler-y section).Non spoilers: alcohol (the characters are twenty-four), cigarettes used in one chapter, light d/s dynamics only explored in the bedroom, use of the word ‘slut’ once as part of sweet dirty talk that’s only humiliating because it’s not what they would expect from the other, calling one of the characters a ‘sex toy’ in a way they both like, jealousy games. Mention of wanting to throw up emotionally (not literally).
Kink stuff:
Submissive tendencies in one of the characters.
Overstimulation (more pleasurable than painful), sort of edging.
Kissing with come in their mouth.
Some manhandling.
Blowjobs in a bathroom stall.SPOILER-Y:
There are instances of dancing with other people the characters intend to hook up with (it’s part of the plot) but their heart isn’t in it and they never do anything about it, it ends fairly quickly, it only provokes jealousy; talk about sleeping with other people to make the other jealous (but it’s never said seriously, only to get the other to fuck them harder).
